Scranton Performance

Here's a video of the new piece I performed last night in Scranton, as part of the Spectacular Scrantonian Spectacular.  This probably exceeded the abilities of my little camera, with theatrical lighting, but it will be a useful tool for me as I continue to develop the piece.  First lesson, my vision is even more restricted than I expected it to be.  I'll give more of my reactions soon.

The event was a hoot, bottom line, and it was an honor to be on the bill with some fine artists.  The music and sound effects were created and performed by Billy Rogan, Jeff Wills hosted the event and improvised with me happily (figuring out he needed to make noise any time he did something, so I could follow him).

It's hard to tell exactly what's going on, as the video quality is iffy. But I got enough of it to contribute a few laughs. I love the hunker-attack move.

Sounds like the audience enjoyed it, too. Congratulations! And thanks for the update. I've been wondering.

Was there tickling going on? The laughter seemed well underway as the clip starts, which might just be, as Java said, an indication that we the video viewers are missing good bits (and that's the sad reality of not being there live...). Audience reaction seems great, and it certainly looked like fun (well, except for that guy directly in front of the cam whose bev got spilled).

Glad you had a great time. Can't wait to hear more about it. Your finished mask looks like one of my dog-sitting charges this week.

And my word ver is "warpo". Interesting.

Oh so wonderful to see your work again!! What gorgeous movement! So glad you had fun. The audience really seemed to be with you and I loved the woman who was trying to pet you.

An enjoyable romp. For you, and the audience alike. Including video viewers out here. Thank you for sharing!
